Delicious matcha and freshly made scones. Friendly service. They charge $1.00 extra for oat or soy milk. I recommend this place.

From local specialty coffee drinks to regular black coffee, Pai Cafe has it all. I appreciate the variety of drinks to choose from however, there aren't TOO many where you feel overwhelmed when looking at the menu. My go to is the HONEY CINNAMON LATTE half sweet. Flavor is on point and the coffee they use is smooth and good quality. I also like their PORTUGUESE SAUSAGE SCONE. Tiny bits of sausage make this savory scone an excellent paring with any sweet drink. SERVICE is excellent. The friendly woman at the register is so kind and DELIVERS every order to her customers. The barista is friendly and talks story with his regulars. There is a good variety locals and tourists that visit this place. There are about four tables inside and two small tables outside. Local artwork is scattered on the walls. Love the vibe in here!!

Pai Cafe is great on so many levels. The Velvet Cream Brew, earl grey scone, and nearly everything else are awesome. The cream brew is much better than starbucks, nordstroms and other competitors. It never gets boring and it tastes super fresh. The owners are fully present for every customer and they greet and chat sincerely. Seating is limited to about 18 inside but there are table outside.

I needed a mid day pick up and found this little shop! I got the honey cinnamon Latte, and it was only $6!!!! What a great price! Coffee was so smooth and flavorful. Honey cinnamon was just what I needed. I only wish they had more milk choices, I can not have any fake milks, I know weird but I can't. And they only had whole milk which was good but would have liked a 2%. But trust me this is on my list for the area! Ambiance was quiet and cute. Everyone I. The cafe seemed to be enjoying themselves. Service was great, fast and attentive. Parking lot small but seems to move fast.

Perfect Coffee Spot! Lots of parking! Cute cafe! Small tables and perfect for a coffee date or coffee with a friend! Service is amazing! They're so friendly. It's on Kapahulu! I did go on a Saturday morning at 8am and parking lot was wide open. So easy! Loved this place and will for sure go back!

I ordered the iced matcha latte with oat milk and this is literally one of the best matchas I ever had! It's so smooth and rich in a good way and the right amount of sweetness. The service was great. The staff is super nice. And the ambiance is super cute and cozy. There are about 4 tables for seating and there's also parking space in the front. Highly recommend this spot!

Pai's Cafe has the best açaí bowl by far! We tried a few others, and the worst açaí bowl was at Aulani. Pai's was the best on the island. The fruits were fresh, natural, and thick, not "soupy." The espressos were also perfection. The employees are all so friendly, and the cafe was very cute. We are hoping to try the bubble waffles soon! I believe they only make them at certain times during the day.

Pai Cafe deserves an "honorable mention" on my recommended cafes in Hawai'i list. As many of you may know, I used to be a batista in Hawai'i before Starbucks arrived, yes, I'm old, but I've also traveled the world and once lived, very briefly, in the home state of Starbucks. I absolutely abhor the company for SO many reasons and I think as people who love the aina, especially when in Hawai'i, it would benefit everyone to avoid them. So Pai Cafe may not have specspectacular ocean or mountain views, but it's very close to both mountains, such as Diamond Head, and beaches, Waikiki. And with the limited indoor and outdoor seating, I recommend taking your drinks and food to go anyway. And here's the main reason why, everything is so picnic and environmentally friendly! If you love matcha and/or coffee, then this is your stop! They have creative specialty drinks for both! They also have acai bowls and tasty scones, perfect for eating on the beach! Parking is also limited and shared with a couple other businesses just do yourself a favor and don't try to take a left turn from Kapahulu into this parking lot.

I love this coffee shop! This spot is along Kapuhulu Ave. There's parking available in the lot in front of the shop as well as street parking in the nearby neighborhood. The interior of the store is on the smaller side but overall is clean and bright. There's seating available indoors and outdoors, and tends to fill up quickly as this is a popular spot (I visited on a weekend morning)! I ordered the matcha latte and an earl grey scone. Service was friendly and quick! I loved my matcha latte, it was creamy with strong flavor, not too sweet either. The scone was delicious; tender, complemented with a sweet icing on top, and with notes of earl grey throughout. Right now, one of my favorite spots for a latte and pastry! Definitely come check this place out!
